St. Thomas UniversityStudent life is about much more than going to and from classes, writing papers, and studying for exams. Living in residence, eating in the cafeteria, joining a club, and playing or watching varsity sports are also important experiences during your university years.

St. Thomas University welcomes international students to campus a week before the rest of the incoming class to allow adjustments to Canada’s culture and climate and also to get to know who else is coming from another country and other cultures.

St. Thomas University International Student Association (STUISA) is a student-run organization affiliated with the St. Thomas Students’ Union. The group is just for you, and plans social events throughout the year to encourage the internationalization of the STU campus.

Our annual Multicultural Fair brings cultures together, sharing traditional foods, dress, dances, music, and art from all over the world with the campus community. Share your story and learn about the story others from across the globe, exchange traditions and experience something new!

Our international students play a major part in maintaining our community of exceptional leaders, talented artists, writers, and musicians, as well as skilled athletes and passionate activists. International students live in all dorms on campus, and are involved in all groups, societies and clubs –from Athletics to Theatre St. Thomas, Students’ Union to Model United Nations. There is an endless list of ways to get involved on campus, make friends, and experience all there is to enjoy during your university years.
